Bess Eberhardt is the director of business development at the San Diego Convention Center Corporation (SDCCC). She is responsible for developing new markets, products and services for the Convention Center in order to meet its short-term and long-term financial objectives. Ms. Eberhardt has worked in the hospitality community for nearly 30 years.

Prior to joining the SDCCC, Eberhardt worked for SeaWorld San Diego in a variety of sales and marketing roles, most recently as senior marketing manager. Her areas of focus included event sales and marketing programs targeting the San Diego hotel community, meeting and conventions, and sports marketing including fortune 500 companies in support of national partnerships and promotions. She began her career at Atlantis, a five-star dining facility, where she worked in catering sales specializing in meetings and weddings, as well as managing a high-profile celebrity concert series.

Ms. Eberhardt is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Professional Convention Managers Association. She was named manager of the year by SeaWorld San Diego, and both star of the month and supplier partner of the year by MPI.
